Vladimir Zelensky believes he is still backed by the \u2018Deep State\u2019 and seeks to fight the US president, Andrey Telizhenko has told RT<\/strong><\/p>\n

The relationship between the US and Ukraine is now undergoing \u201ctotal destruction,\u201d<\/em> with Vladimir Zelensky trying to fight President Donald Trump on behalf of America\u2019s \u2018Deep State\u2019, Andrey Telizhenko, former 3rd Secretary at the Ukrainian Embassy in the US, told RT. The \u2018Deep State\u2019 itself, however, appears to be falling apart as well, he warned.<\/p>\n

Washington and Kiev have recently engaged in a bitter spat, with Zelensky and Trump, as well as other top officials, publicly trading accusations. Among other things, Zelensky has claimed that the US president was \u201cliving in a disinformation bubble\u201d<\/em> allegedly created by Russia. The Ukrainian leader also rejected a proposed deal that would give the US access to his country\u2019s rare-earth minerals to compensate for military aid. In addition, he has refuted Trump\u2019s estimates on the amount of aid Kiev has received, claiming it had not received even half of the quoted sum. Trump, for his part, has branded Zelensky a \u201cdictator without elections,\u201d<\/em> claiming the Ukrainian leader had an extremely low approval rating in his country.<\/p>\n

The ongoing spat amounts to a \u201ctotal destruction of all relationships\u201d<\/em> between Washington and Kiev, Telizhenko said, suggesting that Zelensky has already missed his chance to have any say in potential negotiations to end the Russia-Ukraine hostilities.<\/p>\n

Zelensky has never had a particularly amicable relationship with the US president, the ex-diplomat noted, citing Kiev\u2019s broken promises \u201cto investigate the Biden crime family corruption<\/em>\u201c<\/em> in Ukraine back in 2019, during Trump\u2019s first term. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cUnfortunately, they lied. They lied to President Trump then; they are lying to President Trump now. So now Zelensky has no credibility whatsoever. He\u2019s an illegitimate president, and the relationship between Ukraine and the United States are falling apart,\u201d Telizhenko stated. <\/em><\/p>\n

Zelensky\u2019s behavior largely stems from his belief he still has the full backing of the US Deep State,\u201d<\/em> Telizhenko asserted, noting, however, that the elusive enigmatic force has been \u201cfalling apart\u201d<\/em> itself already.<\/p>\n

\u201cFirst of all, Zelensky thinks he\u2019s being backed by the globalists in the Deep State. That\u2019s why he\u2019s fighting Washington; that\u2019s why he\u2019s fighting the president of the US. He was never backed up by Biden. Biden was just a picture. He was backed up by the Deep State, Nulands, Clintons, Soros, whatsoever. USAID and the CIA. That\u2019s why he thinks he has the power to go against the incumbent president,\u201d<\/em> Telizhenko explained.<\/p>\n

The ex-diplomat also urged US leadership to purge any US operatives, whether intelligence and diplomatic, currently active in Ukraine, suggesting they have been effectively working for \u201cKiev regime\u201d<\/em> rather than Washington.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe needs to get them out of Ukraine, and then he can basically get a normal picture of what is happening in Kiev.
